Muddy is a ceramic pottery project tracker developed by Cyril Chandelier. This policy explains what data the app handles and how it is treated.
All data you create in Muddy — ceramic pieces, stage entries, photos, notes, and custom libraries — is stored locally on your device. Muddy does not require an account, and does not collect your name, email address, or any other personal identification information.
If you have iCloud Drive enabled on your device, Muddy may sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple CloudKit. This sync is managed entirely by Apple and is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. You can disable iCloud sync for Muddy in your device's iCloud settings.
Muddy requests camera access solely to let you photograph your ceramic pieces. Photos are stored on your device (and in iCloud if enabled). They are never uploaded to any external server.
Muddy may request permission to send local notifications to remind you when a piece is ready for its next stage. These notifications are scheduled on-device and do not involve any external push notification service.
Muddy offers optional in-app purchases (monthly and lifetime) processed through the App Store. Subscription management is handled by RevenueCat, which receives a device-level identifier to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any content you create in the app.
Muddy does not include any analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
Muddy Unlimited subscribers can export their data as a backup file. This file contains all of your ceramic project data including photos and notes. You are responsible for the security of any backup files you create or share.

No other third-party services receive your data.
Muddy does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not require an account or collect identifying data from any user.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
